Ezeonwuka Says He Will Defend Ranet Industries Ownership Claim in Court
Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka says he is prepared to defend his ownership claims over the Ranet Industries property in Oba, which he says served as Tansian University’s take-off campus. He was responding to reports that Fr Edwin Obiora had filed a suit involving Ezeonwuka, podcast host Chijioke Igwendu and Igwendu’s wife. Ezeonwuka said he had not yet been served with any court papers. Ezeonwuka alleged that the property was contributed as his equity during the university’s formation and said the arrangement was documented in records connected to the institution’s accreditation. He said he would respond with evidence when formally served. The dispute concerns the ownership, use and alleged unpaid obligations relating to the Oba property. The claims have not been independently determined by a court.
