Floyd Mayweather Files $175 Million Fraud Lawsuit Against Former Associate
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is suing former associate Jona Rechnitz over a scheme that allegedly cost him at least $175 million. He claims unauthorised transfers, fake investments, and disputed property deals drained his funds. The lawsuit names Rechnitz, Ayal Frist, Frist Apex Ventures and attorney Alexander Seligson. Court documents say they used shell companies and unauthorised wire transfers to redirect millions. One allegation involves $100 million in jewellery handed to Miami jewellers for just $13 million, with much of the collection never returned. Mayweather also alleges a $7.5 million investment vanished and a $15 million real estate settlement was moved without his approval. He seeks at least $175 million in damages, punitive compensation and a full financial accounting of the missing assets.
