A Prayer for Victory Over Pride and Rebellion

Father, I confess my pride, rebellion, arrogance and judgment of others. Forgive me for trusting in my own achievements, wealth, abilities and family background instead of giving You the honour. Help me become humble, teachable, loving and respectful toward others and those in authority. I confess the ways fear, rejection and pride have affected my relationships and faith. I renounce sin, legalism and any interest in the occult. Please soften my heart, help me trust You, and guide me to live with humility and obedience. Deliver me from anything that draws me away from Your truth. Open my ears, eyes and heart to understand Your Word and follow the leading of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.
