Imo Police Bolster Security to Sustain Peace and Curb Violence
Psalm 150:6 KJV – Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Audu Garba Bosso, has introduced enhanced security measures across the state. This action follows directives from the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu. The command will increase visible patrols, ensure rapid response to incidents, and monitor public spaces to deter IPOB/ESN groups, kidnappers, and other violent criminals. It will also engage communities, youth groups, traditional leaders, and faith organizations to build trust and encourage timely information sharing. Residents are urged to stay vigilant, obey the law, and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or via the designated emergency hotlines. The Imo Police Command reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the prevailing peace.
