TETFund Empowers NAF Institutions with Fresh Funding
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has announced a new wave of support for Nigerian Air Force (NAF) educational institutions. This partnership was reaffirmed during a visit by Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke to TETFund’s headquarters, where Executive Secretary Sonny Echono highlighted the fund’s role in driving academic excellence and infrastructure development. Thanks to past interventions, the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) now boasts modern labs, hostels, and a disciplined learning environment. The Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing has also benefited through upgraded facilities and enhanced healthcare training, regulated by the National Board for Technical Education and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Looking ahead, the Air Chief has proposed new projects including an AI and robotics laboratory, a smart-surveillance perimeter fence, and staff accommodation to further boost teaching, research, and welfare. TETFund’s commitment to these initiatives will ensure that NAF institutions continue to produce highly skilled graduates who serve both military and civilian sectors.
