Mr Ibu’s Wife Remembers Late Actor on His 64th Posthumous Birthday

Stella Maris Okafor, wife of late Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has shared an emotional birthday tribute to him. She posted a video with her children and said life has not been the same since his death. In her message, she wrote that she still feels the pain of losing him every day but continues to hold on to the love he left behind. She added that, given another chance, she would choose to share her life with him again. The tribute comes after a public dispute over the family’s finances and properties. Stella previously denied allegations by one of Mr Ibu’s sons that she sold family properties and misused money donated during the actor’s illness. Mr Ibu died in March 2024 after a prolonged illness and was buried in Enugu State.
