Katsina United Coach Hails 2-1 Win Over Sporting Lagos

Katsina United technical adviser Azeez Audu Mohammed praised his side after their 2-1 NPFL victory over Sporting Lagos at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium. Luis Dadong gave the Chanji Boys a first-half advantage with goals in the 10th and 28th minutes. Aliyu Baba pulled one back for Sporting Lagos in the 65th minute, but Katsina United held on for all three points. Mohammed said the result mattered more than a clean sheet, especially against a Sporting Lagos side with a strong away record. He commended his players for following the game plan but said the team must improve defensively after conceding in the second half. Katsina United will next travel to Ozoro to face Warri Wolves.
