The sixth-grade boy suffered the medical emergency and became unresponsive inside Justice Sonia Sotomayor Community School around 11:40 a.m., according to Yonkers school officials. First responders attempted to revive the 12-year-old, but he was pronounced dad after he was brought to St. Josephs Hospital, school officials said.As police investigate the nature of the medical emergency, we remain focused on caring for his classmates, teachers and staff who are in terrible pain, Yonkers Public Schools Superintendent Anibal Soler Jr. said in a statement.
