Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke has been omitted from Sevilla’s pre-season friendly matches as the club works to resolve his future. Spanish outlet AS reports that Ejuke is still training with Sevilla’s first team, but the club is keen to complete a transfer before the summer window closes. The 28-year-old has one year left on his contract and could leave for free next year if he is not sold. Ejuke has been linked with clubs in Major League Soccer, Belgium, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He joined Sevilla as a free agent in 2024 after leaving CSKA Moscow, recording one goal and one assist in 27 appearances last season.
