Popular Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has announced her conversion from Islam to Christianity after a miraculous recovery from a mysterious nine-year illness. She will deliver her public testimony at the Holy Ghost Revival organised by Queen Belemzy Ministries in Abuja on Saturday, 4 July 2026. Abubakar recalls how Apostle Queen Belemzy’s prayers guided her through the darkest moments of her ailment and ultimately brought her full restoration. “I almost died,” she said. “This is not about movies; this is about restoration and testimony.” Now fully committed, she declares, “I have given my life to Christ and I am ready to serve Him and share His gospel with others.”
