CAF Confederation Cup Draw: Shooting Stars Face CS Sfaxien, El-Kanemi Meet UDIB

Shooting Stars will face Tunisia's CS Sfaxien in the first preliminary round of the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup. The Oluyole Warriors will host the first leg at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne before travelling to Tunisia for the return match. The winners will progress to face either Côte d’Ivoire’s AF Amadou Diallo or Sierra Leone’s East End Lions in the second preliminary round. El-Kanemi Warriors have been drawn against Guinea-Bissau’s União Desportiva Internacional (UDIB). If they advance, they will meet Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, who received a bye into the second round. First-leg ties will hold from September 4 to 6, with return matches scheduled for September 11 to 13, 2026. Both Nigerian clubs will be seeking to help end the country’s wait for a CAF Confederation Cup title.
