The Brazilian said Ten Hag was tactically strong but struggled to manage relationships within the squad. He cited the Dutchman’s confrontational approach and his fallout with Cristiano Ronaldo as an example. Fred described Solskjær as better at uniting players, while suggesting that assistants Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna provided much of the tactical input during the Norwegian’s time in charge.
