Opta Supercomputer Backs Arsenal to Win the 2026/27 Champions League

Opta’s supercomputer has made Arsenal favourites to win the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League, giving Mikel Arteta’s side a 21.2% chance of lifting the trophy for the first time. Arsenal face a difficult league-phase schedule against Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Napoli and Borussia Dortmund. Bayern are rated second favourites at 19.9%, while Manchester City have a 12% chance. Defending champions PSG are ranked fourth with a 7.7% chance of completing a third straight triumph. Barcelona and Real Madrid follow, while Liverpool, Manchester United and Aston Villa are also among the English clubs competing in the tournament.
