Theme: Fire Carriers Memory Verse: “Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.” 2 Kings 3:11 Reading: 2 Kings 2:1–14 shows how Elijah’s mantle passed to Elisha. By faithfully serving God’s prophet, Elisha received a double portion of his spirit. To carry the fire of the Holy Spirit, you must serve and honor those whom God has placed over you. Joshua learned from Moses, and Elisha served Elijah. Pride will keep you from receiving; humble service opens the door to God’s power. Key Point: Serving spiritual leaders with a humble heart channels God’s fire into your life. Pray for grace to honor and learn from those He appoints.
