Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are expected to make their ring walks at about 1am for their heavyweight showdown at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 12. A licence application to Cardiff Council seeks a one-off extension that would allow boxing, music, refreshments and alcohol sales to continue until 3am. Stadium doors would close at 3:30am. The late start is intended to suit peak television viewing hours in the United States. The required licence changes are still awaiting final approval.
