Arthur Okonkwo has joined Charlton Athletic on a season-long loan from Wrexham, returning to The Valley where he made his Super Eagles debut during the 2026 Unity Cup. The 24-year-old goalkeeper will be aiming for regular Championship football as he pushes for a bigger role in Nigeria’s national team. Ademola Lookman emerged from the club’s academy before moving to Everton and becoming a key Super Eagles forward. Joe Aribo also developed at The Valley, helping Charlton secure promotion in 2019 before moving on to Rangers and international football.
