Today’s reading is from 2 Kings 7:3-10. Four leprous men risked their lives to enter the enemy camp and found it deserted. They gathered food and valuables but soon realized that good news must be shared. They ran to the king’s household and brought deliverance to Samaria. This story reminds us of our call to share the gospel. Christ’s death and resurrection usher in a new covenant of grace. If we keep this good news to ourselves, others miss out on God’s blessings. Let us boldly proclaim what Jesus has done for us. Action Point: Tell at least one person today how Jesus saved you. Continue your “Bible in One Year” readings with 2 Samuel 14–16. Sing hymn 12, “Onward, Christian Soldiers.” Use the provided prayer points to overcome fear and testify with confidence.
