Tom Holland Says Plans Are Underway for a New Spider-Man
Tom Holland says plans have been in place since Spider-Man: No Way Home for another actor to eventually take over the role of Peter Parker. Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Holland said he has a clear vision for passing the baton when his time as Spider-Man ends. He added that he hopes to help prepare whoever succeeds him, just as Robert Downey Jr. supported him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Holland made his Spider-Man debut in Captain America: Civil War in 2016 and later starred in Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home. He has also named Adolescence actor Owen Cooper as someone he believes could make a strong future Spider-Man.
