NOA Urges Kaduna Residents to Avoid Self-Medication Over Ebola Concerns
The National Orientation Agency in Kaduna has advised residents not to self-medicate or hide suspected symptoms following the reported confirmation of an Ebola case in Abuja. The agency urged anyone with symptoms such as sudden fever, severe headache, weakness, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhoea, unexplained bleeding or bruising to visit the nearest health facility promptly. Residents were also advised to follow guidance from verified health authorities. Ebola can spread through direct contact with infected blood, body fluids, tissues, or contaminated materials.
