Minna Couple Turn Argument Into Marriage After Groom Produces ₦100,000 Bride Price
A disagreement between Nana and Isah reportedly took an unexpected turn at a noodles spot in Shiroro, Minna, Niger State. During the argument, Isah reportedly said he was not qualified to marry Nana. She challenged him to prove otherwise by paying ₦100,000 as her bride price. He then brought out the money and handed it to her. People at the spot stepped in as representatives for both families and conducted a marriage ceremony. Nana’s father later rejected the arrangement and asked them to come to his home the next morning, where the marriage was formally conducted again before the bride joined her husband.
