Need Advice: My Mum and Brother Moved In, My Wife Feels Uncomfortable

I’m a family man with a wife and two young children. We rented an apartment for years until our rent expired three years ago. I then upgraded my late father’s house and moved my family in. My mum and younger brother recently returned to live with us after a family dispute. My wife has been unhappy about sharing our home with them. I work offshore two weeks on, two weeks off and can’t mediate every issue. I’d appreciate mature, honest advice on navigating living with extended family without causing conflict or resentment.

Maybe you're focusing too much on keeping family tradition and not enough on your wife's comfort.

Consider creating clear private spaces for each family member and schedule weekly check-ins to discuss concerns openly.
