Faithia Williams Pays Emotional Tribute to Taiwo Hassan at His Fidau Prayer
Nollywood actress Faithia Williams paid tribute to veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, also known as Ogogo, at his eight-day Fidau prayer. She described him as a mentor and boss who supported her after she returned from London and joined the Odunfa theatre community. Williams said he welcomed her warmly and remembered him as honest, peaceful and irreplaceable. Other actors, fans and colleagues also attended memorial events and shared prayers in his honour. Several Nollywood stars, including Yinka Quadri, Femi Adebayo, Ibrahim Chatta, Itele and Kelvin Ikeduba, were among those who publicly mourned and celebrated his impact on the Yoruba film industry.
