Apostle Friday Says He Is Not Competing With Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Apostle Constance C. Friday has congratulated Bishop Mike Okonkwo of TREM on his 81st birthday, describing him as a major figure in the growth of the church in Nigeria. He said he is not upset that many people may place greater trust in older church leaders. He added that he respects the years of work and experience of ministers such as Bishop Okonkwo. The cleric, however, appealed to critics to stop spreading claims he says are intended to damage his reputation. He urged people not to compare younger ministers with leaders who have spent decades in ministry.
