Why Faith Must Rest on God’s Word, Not Feelings
For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). To live the Christian life biblically, rely on God’s Word—not on feelings. Sensations and personal experiences vary. Some feel heat, others cold. None form the basis of genuine faith. Faith is founded on God’s promises. When the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus’ garment, she immediately knew she was healed (Mark 5:29). Her focus was on the result, not on a sensation. That testimony shows the right foundation for faith. Prayer: Father, thank you for your Word that guides my life. I trust your truth and walk in its reality today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
