The Strength of Lifelong Obedience to God

Long obedience means remaining faithful to God over years, even when the results are slow and the culture around us changes. It is not a short sprint driven by motivation. It is a lifelong commitment to doing what is right. In sexual purity, sustained faithfulness builds character, integrity, peace and a testimony that can guide younger people. It also requires patience, because personal transformation and freedom may come gradually. Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in doing good. Our commitment to God should not have an expiry date. By His grace, we can honour the sacredness of sex and remain faithful to His standards.
