NDLEA Honors GMBNI with Certificate of Collaboration
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency presented a certificate of collaboration to the Grassroots Mobilizers for Better Nigeria Initiative in recognition of their fight against drug abuse at the grassroots. The ceremony at GMBNI headquarters in Abuja saw Shehu Dankolo, NDLEA Commander in charge of Narcotics and Sensitization, represent NDLEA chairman Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (rtd). GMBNI, led by Dr Fatimah Mohammed Goni, recently published a book to sensitize youth on the dangers of harmful drugs. Both agencies will work together to disrupt drug cartels and strengthen community outreach. After a successful inspection and positive assessment of GMBNI’s operations, NDLEA awarded the certificate. GMBNI expressed gratitude and pledged to continue serving vulnerable communities.
