I Want to Marry Her, but She Tested Positive for Hepatitis B
I love her deeply. She is respectful, caring and has many of the qualities I want in a wife. However, during our premarital medical tests, she tested positive for hepatitis B. The result was a huge shock to both of us. I tested negative, but I plan to repeat my test in two months and take the hepatitis B vaccine this week. She will also do a viral-load test next week so a doctor can advise her on treatment if necessary. My biggest concern is whether we can still have a safe marriage and healthy children if her infection is chronic. I do not want to abandon someone I love, but I also want to make an informed decision. Has anyone had a similar experience or received medical guidance on this?
