Why Genuine Men of God Refuse to Charge for Prayer

Many believers wonder why some pastors now demand fees before praying. I once received a call from a friend abroad who wanted me to travel to his village. He was told he must pay a high fee to have a man of God set foot on the land and end his troubles. I declined to travel. Instead, I stayed in my office and made a decree as the Word of God promises. Within a week, the vulture haunting his new land vanished. The recurring coffin dream stopped. Even his foreign court case was struck out. When he asked for payment, I told him to wait until God answered. After he testified, I still refused fees. I explained that I don’t charge for prayer. We only offer free books. Those moved to give can support our projects voluntarily. Ungrateful responses explain why so many now charge for prayers. Yet true ministry relies on faith, not fees. Don’t let others’ wrongs sway your calling. Keep trusting God to provide.
