Oyedepo Condemns Kaduna Killings, Prays Against Attackers and Alleged Sponsors
Bishop David Oyedepo has condemned the recurring killings in Nigeria, saying he would pray against those carrying out the attacks and anyone allegedly sponsoring them. Speaking during a church service after the reported July 27 attack in Kaduna, in which at least 30 people were said to have been killed, Oyedepo described the perpetrators as destructive agents. He said they should face judgment rather than prayers for mercy. The Living Faith Church founder also criticised what he described as a weak response from the Federal Government, questioning whether authorities had sufficiently condemned the latest killings. He warned that continued violence and impunity would eventually attract divine judgment.
