Elinor Donahue (born Mary Eleanor Donahue on 19 April 1937 in Tacoma, Washington) rose to fame in the 1950s as Betty in the hit series Father Knows Best. Over her seven-decade career, she appeared on Days of Our Lives, The Andy Griffith Show and played Judge Marie Anderson on The Young and the Restless from 2010 to 2011. She has been married three times and is a mother of four. Her longest marriage was to producer Harry Ackerman, with whom she raised Christopher, James, Peter and Brian Ackerman. She has been married to Lou Genevrino since 1992. Elinor began acting at age five in dance choruses and small film roles. She went on to star in Girls Town and Love Is Better Than Ever, and made guest appearances on Star Trek, U.S. Marshal and Many Happy Returns. Her achievements include an Emmy nomination in 1959 and the TV Land Legend Award in 2004. She holds an estimated net worth of $4 million today.
