Transforming Sexual Purity through Lectio Divina

Each day I practice Lectio Divina to deepen my walk with God and strengthen my commitment to purity. I read a short passage slowly, meditate on words that stand out, pray in response, and then rest in God’s silent presence. This ancient method helps me internalize Scripture about God’s design for sexuality. It reshapes my thoughts and invites the Holy Spirit to speak directly to my struggles. Over time, these moments of reflection bring lasting change rather than quick fixes. Try choosing passages on strength, identity in Christ, or God’s promises. Read them slowly, savor the phrases, then pray and simply be with God. Consistent practice transforms the heart and fuels a life of sexual integrity. Confession: I acknowledge that sex is a sacred act, designed by God for divine purposes. By His grace, I will honor and uphold its sanctity. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
