West Ham Sack Nuno After Slipping to Eighth in the Championship
West Ham United have sacked head coach Nuno Espírito Santo after a poor start to their Championship campaign. The Hammers are eighth, six points behind leaders Middlesbrough, and have lost their last two home games after dropping from second place. They have won just two of their last six matches. Assistant head coach Rui Pedro Silva and goalkeeper coach Rui Barbosa have also left the club. Mark Noble, Steve Potts and Gerard Prenderville will take charge for Wednesday’s trip to Cardiff City while West Ham begins its search for a new head coach.
