Grace, Repentance and the Call to Sin No More
Sin brings shame, fear and separation from God. Adam and Eve knew no shame before disobedience, but after they sinned, they hid and began to shift blame instead of accepting responsibility. Scripture teaches that sin entered the world through Adam, but God’s grace and righteousness came through Jesus Christ. In Christ, those who receive His gift are made new. The story of the woman accused of adultery reveals both mercy and truth. Jesus did not condemn her, yet He also called her to leave her sinful life behind: “Go, and sin no more.” God’s grace is not permission to remain in sin. It is an invitation to repentance, forgiveness and a transformed life.
