More recently, he portrayed physicist Isidor Isaac Rabi in Oppenheimer. Born in New York City in 1978, Krumholtz began acting as a teenager on Broadway. His film and television credits also include 10 Things I Hate About You, Ray, Serenity, Superbad, The Deuce and The Plot Against America. He has been married to actress Vanessa Britting since 2010 and they have two children. Krumholtz was treated for thyroid cancer in 2011 and was declared cancer-free in 2012.
