Speak Plainly About Sexual Struggles
“Let your yes be yes and your no be no.” — Matthew 5:37 When discussing sexual struggles with God, a counsellor or an accountability partner, I should avoid language that hides what happened. Saying “I stumbled” instead of plainly naming the action can make the problem seem smaller than it is. Honesty does not mean condemning myself. It means being accurate, accepting God’s grace and recognising what needs to change. Genuine repentance begins when I face the truth without excuses or softened words. I acknowledge that sex is sacred and designed by God for divine purposes. By His grace, I will honour and uphold its sanctity. Amen.
