UNN Acting Vice-Chancellor Secures Ultra-Modern Female Hostel from Paul Erinne Foundation
Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umobi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Paul Erinne Foundation to fund an ultra-modern female hostel at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She praised Brother Paul Erinne for his generosity and prayed for continued success in his humanitarian efforts. Paul Erinne, the foundation’s founder, thanked the Vice-Chancellor for her leadership. He recalled their childhood friendship and said that, at 70, he remains committed to supporting student welfare. The new hostel will offer 100 fully furnished rooms for 200 female students. It will feature constant power supply, high-speed WiFi, modern kitchen and laundry facilities, study and relaxation lounges, plus 24/7 security with CCTV. The foundation stone was laid in a ceremony witnessed by the university management, and the project should finish within one year with minimal maintenance fees.
