Ghanaian Mother of Five Demands Support as Husband Plans Second Wedding After 12 Years
A Ghanaian mother of five says she is ending her 12-year marriage after learning that her husband plans to marry another woman. Speaking on a Ghanaian television programme on October 28, Akua alleged that her husband had repeatedly been unfaithful during their marriage. She said she had endured the situation for years but no longer wishes to remain with him. Akua is asking that he formally return her to her family under their custom and provide accommodation for her and their children. She also warned that she may try to stop the planned wedding if her demands are ignored.
