Unpacking God’s Perfect Plan for Humanity’s Salvation
I’ve been thinking about why a perfect, all-powerful, all-knowing, and perfectly loving God would create a world with suffering. The answer comes down to free will and God’s “perfect plan” of salvation. According to Christian belief, humanity failed the test in Eden when we chose the forbidden fruit. Yet instead of destroying us, God showed mercy and set in motion a rescue mission. Thousands of years later, He sent His own Son—both fully God and fully human—to pay the penalty for our sin through a willing sacrifice and then rise again. It sounds complicated, but the heart of the message is simple: God’s justice demands a price, and His love meets that demand through grace. By believing in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, we’re offered forgiveness and new life. It may not answer every question—like why so much blood was required—but it reveals a God committed to redeeming His creation.
