From Unity to Decay: Why One Nigeria Has Failed and Needs a Fresh Start
I once believed in the dream of One Nigeria, but decades of corruption and broken promises have shown me its flaws. Every level of government—from the presidency to ward councils—serves elites while oppressing ordinary citizens. Judges take bribes, legislators loot national funds, and the anti-graft agency targets the powerless. Governors and local officials enrich themselves at the expense of essential services. Even the oil company and electricity distributors profit by denying Nigerians basic rights. Desperate youths turn to crime, while religious intolerance and tribalism fuel division. To save our future, we must overhaul the system from its foundation. A truly inclusive sovereign conference and a complete restructuring offer our best hope for freedom, justice, and lasting unity.
