Osimhen Excited to Face Former Club Lille in Champions League
Victor Osimhen says he is looking forward to facing former club Lille when Galatasaray begin their 2026/27 UEFA Champions League campaign. After the league-phase draw in Monaco, Lille shared a throwback photo of Osimhen and Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães from their time together at the French club. Osimhen replied that he was excited to see Lille again, while Gabriel also welcomed the reunion. Osimhen scored 18 goals in 38 appearances during the 2019/20 season at Lille before joining Napoli in 2020. Galatasaray are scheduled to visit Lille on October 21, while they will also face Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Aston Villa and Sporting CP during the league phase.
