Free ISBN and Legal Deposit Workshop for Writers in Ibadan
Ibadan Book Club is hosting a free physical workshop on ISBN and Legal Deposit for writers, publishers, editors, journalists, librarians, students and other literary professionals in Oyo State and nearby areas. Participants will learn why ISBNs matter, how to obtain one in Nigeria, Legal Deposit requirements, copyright basics, and the role of the National Library in preserving Nigeria’s intellectual heritage. Attendees who register and participate will receive an electronic certificate. The workshop holds on Saturday, 25 July 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Oyo State Library Board in Dugbe, Ibadan. Spaces are limited, and interested participants should register early through the contact provided in the event notice. The session will be facilitated by Adekoya Adebayo Osunkoya of the National Library of Nigeria, Oyo State Branch.
