Aregbesola Says He Lived in a Friend’s Home During His Eight-Year Governorship
Rauf Aregbesola, National Secretary of the ADC and former governor of Osun State, says he never owned a house while leading the state for two terms. In a recent video statement, he revealed he stayed in a friend’s home throughout his eight-year tenure and challenged anyone with proof to the contrary. He claims to be the first Nigerian governor to complete two terms without acquiring personal property. Aregbesola served as Osun governor from 2010 to 2018 before his appointment as Minister of Interior under President Buhari’s administration.
