Evelyn Badu scored in first-half stoppage time as Ghana drew 1-1 with Mali in Casablanca to reach the WAFCON 2026 quarter-finals. Mali equalised through Kadidiatou Diabate early in the second half and pressed for the winner they needed. Ghana held on for the point, while Mali were eliminated on goal difference after both teams finished on four points. Cameroon topped Group D with seven points after drawing 1-1 with Cape Verde. Ghana will now face Malawi in the quarter-finals, with a place at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup also at stake.
