The France captain said Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were automatic selections before adding the Brazilian Ronaldo and Zidane. Together, the four legends have won 16 Ballon d’Or awards. Messi has won the award eight times, Cristiano Ronaldo has five, Ronaldo Nazário won twice, and Zidane won it in 1998. Mbappé is also among the nominees for the 2026 Ballon d’Or award.
