Exploring an Abandoned 1974 Ceramic Factory
I’ve always enjoyed exploring hidden spots, so today I visited a deserted ceramic factory that first opened in 1974. A local woman told me her husband worked there in the 80s during its busiest years, before it shut down around 2007. Walking through the empty halls, I tried to imagine the hum of the machines and the daily routines of the workers. Every rusted pipe and broken tile seemed to whisper stories of a once-thriving workplace. My adventure gave me a glimpse into Nigeria’s industrial past and left me wondering what other forgotten places lie waiting to be rediscovered.
