ADC’s Bolaji Abdullahi Alleges Nafiu Bala Defected After Government Bribe

The National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, Bolaji Abdullahi, claims that Nafiu Bala abandoned the party after accepting lucrative offers from government contacts. He says the party tried to placate Bala and find him a suitable role, but could not match the perks he received, including armoured cars and security details. Abdullahi also rejected Bala’s assertion that his resignation letter was forged. He challenged Bala to present any official police or legal complaint and cited linguistic analysis and the NEC meeting—monitored by INEC—that dissolved the executive, appointed a caretaker committee led by David Mark, and validated the change.
