Strength in Quiet Trust: Finding Victory through Stillness
When someone endures attacks without retaliation and entrusts their case to God, it is wiser for the offender to apologise than to provoke divine justice. A mother eagle once tested her eaglet by taking prey from two different birds. The silent duck handed her duckling over to higher judgment and was spared. The fierce hen’s desperate cries, however, ensured no mercy when the eagle returned. Psalm 46:10 reminds us to be still and know that He is God. Quiet confidence in His power, rather than relying on our own strength, leads to triumph over fear and adversity. (Source: Pastor E. A. Adeboye)
