A Prayer for a Discerning Heart and God’s Will

Loving Father, I come into Your presence and rest in the knowledge that You are God. Sometimes, I do not know how to pray, but I desire to pray with discernment and according to Your will. Please give me a heart that understands Your leading. Prompt me through Your Spirit of truth and show me what I should be praying for. I offer myself to You as a living sacrifice. Help me to go where You send me and remain where You choose. Give me a discerning heart, and keep me from placing my own will above Yours. In Jesus’ name, amen.
