Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle says Nigeria have had too little time to prepare for their 2027 AFCON qualifier against Guinea-Bissau in Bissau. Chelle said the short international window allowed only a few sessions for tactical work, recovery and travel after Friday’s 2-1 comeback win over Madagascar in Uyo. He admitted Nigeria’s performance against Madagascar was below the desired level despite the victory. The team also faces a concern over debutant scorer George Ilenikhena, who may miss the match after picking up a knock.
