Flamingos Draw Poland, Puerto Rico and Korea DPR in U-17 Women’s World Cup Group B

Nigeria’s Flamingos secured qualification with an 8-5 aggregate win over Benin’s Young Amazons. They claimed a 3-2 home victory in Ikenne and sealed the tie with a 5-3 win in Lomé. In Group B at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, Akeem Busari’s side will open against Poland on Saturday, 17 October at the Rabat Women’s Football Complex (Pitch 4). They face Puerto Rico on Tuesday, 20 October at the same venue before wrapping up group play against two-time champions Korea DPR on Friday, 23 October at Pitch 1 of the Women’s Football Complex. The tenth edition of the tournament runs from 17 October to 7 November 2026.
